Quests are the most important gameplay element in Haze piece. Quests allow the player to earn Exp (Experience points) and money.

Each quest has a level requirement you need to reach, you have to be at that level or higher to start the quest. If you don't meet the level needed a message will appear saying, "You Don't meet the level required!"

Most islands have a quest giver who can give you 1 to 3 quests, the last quest will always require defeating a boss.

Once you accept a quest, an image will appear on the left side of your screen which will give you some information such as rewards and the number of enemies you need to kill.

You can only work on one quest at a time. Trying to start a new quest while having an active quest will cause the quest giver to say, "You are already on a quest!"

Under the Special category is where extra notes about the enemy go, these are:

1. Boss: Bosses, can do damage to the player, regardless of the player's equipped fruit. (e.g. if the player has an Elemental Fruit, the boss can hit them regardless of the players level)
2. All Bosses take 20 seconds to respawn.
3. If the enemy has Buso equipped, they can hit all player's including elemental fruit users.
4. Chop: The enemy NPC has the Chop Fruit, all Sword attacks will do no damage to the NPC unless you are high enough level.
5. Elemental: The enemy NPC has an Elemental Fruit, meaning that physical attacks (melee and swords) will not do damage to the NPC unless the player has Buso activated.
6. Almost every boss in the game has a chance to drop an accessory, sword, or item.
7. Bosses do not give bounties only super bosses give bounties.
