Swords are one of the three main ways to deal damage in the game, along with Fruits And Fighting Styles.
Swords are a weapon classification of up-close-and-personal, melee weapons that can be found and bought everywhere in the Haze Piece universe.
All swords have two unique abilities, and some swords have imbue or skills that originate from their Fruit counterpart (or from somewhere else).
Many swords can also be upgraded via drop chances from different bosses.
There are several ways of obtaining Swords, including:

- In the case of the Dark Blade, players can obtain the Game pass by purchasing it with
Robux, receiving it as a gift, or trading for it. - In the case of the White Blade, Wearing the UGC Limited.

- Sword users are unable to harm Chop users due to their passive immunity to swords, even if they use Buso.
- This also applies to Clown Boss, although he has a 1/3 chance of being Hit.
- However, bosses with swords can still damage Chop users because bosses can overcome all immunities.
- All swords come with two preset skills.
- Golden Staff and Pipe are the only swords which are affected by fruits, Electricity getting a 10% damage buff when using Golden Staff, and Pipegetting a passive flame effect that gives a 10% damage buff to the burning effect.
- When Buso is active while using certain higher rarity swords, there will be an emanating glowing aura, as seen with the Shusui, 2 Sword Style V2, and most of the other Swords
